Sr. Specialist, eCommerce SCM


The eCommerce SCM is responsible for managing all Demand planning and logistics activities for direct to consumer business along with SECA employee purchase site through CPFR process from forecasting to order fulfillment and P/S/I management (including Inventory Activities, Purchasing, Forecast Management, Allocation & Order Fulfillment). It is an integral role which works closely with external partners, sales, operations, Process innovation, divisional demand planners and other stakeholders to gain consensus and establish accurate level sales forecast across all sales divisions.


The incumbent will be responsible for demand planning through trend analysis, gap analysis, predictive modeling, analysis of historical sales performance, inventory levels, promotional plans and market intelligence all to be presented in a compelling manner. Where gaps to plan are identified, the incumbent is expected to recommend strategic counter measure.


By working with divisional demand planners, the incumbent must ensure appropriate product allocation for timely fulfillment of orders to meet sales forecast down to SKU level.


This role will be required to recommend best practices regarding SCM process and policies, actively apply a continuous improvement approach to work processes, including process automation where applicable.  


  • Responsible for account level forecast, Collaborative Planning Forecast and Replenishment (CPFR) Analysis and Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) Analysis in order to achieve revenue target
  • Attend the weekly CPFR meeting with inventory analysts, customer and sales representative (Review of Purchase Order Submission, order forecast, product transition and account issues etc.)
  • Responsible for Drop Order (DO) creation, allocation, back order reports and order monitoring
  • Monitor historical sales trend and inventory level to provide Sell Thru and Sell In forecast using Samsung internal systems
  • Work with divisional demand planners to ensure all AP1/AP2 are entered correctly at all times and appropriate level of inventory is allocated for eCommerce business
  • Work with divisional demand planners and logistics to help coordinate direct and hub shipments (On Time Delivery appointment issues)
  • Work with BOC and logistics to ensure delivery expectations to end customers & SECA employees are met
  • Report issues and gaps and perform root cause analysis for resolution
  • KPI Monitoring and Analysis (Sales, aging, forecast accuracy, inventory management, weeks of supply)
  • Minimize Compliance Charges, and participate in post-audit reviews (as needed)
  • Periodic review and optimization of load utilization and transportation modes from factory to customer
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly target analysis and recommend gap closure strategies
  • Review appointments relative to Planned Goods Issued requirements / Update forecast for early or Late Goods Issued
  • Responsible to ensure that weekly demand is adjusted to match weekly sales
  • Ensure to meet weekly and monthly targets by product group based on plan
  • Weekly and daily Supply Chain Management reporting in support of leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Recommend best practices regarding SCM processes and policies. Actively apply a continuous improvement approach to work processes, including process automation, where applicable
  • Add new categories on board and drive business based on WOS and revenue Targets


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant field preferred
  • CSCMP, APICs or other related Supply Chain Management Designation would be preferred
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products.
