We’re looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Cloud Operations Team building cloud infrastructure and highly available solutions that will help deliver our industry leading products.  You love the craft of designing, building, and automating. Responsibilities

(What You’ll Do)

  • Install, Administer and troubleshoot Linux infrastructure
  • Perform operational and DevOps tasks in our AWS cloud-based infrastructure using DevOps principles
  • Research, Design and Build tools and systems to improve the time to market of our products
  • Automate the configuration and deployment of monitoring and management services
  • Drive improvement in monitoring and logging to help identify key performance metrics
  • Design and write tools and scripts to provide automation and self-services solutions for other teams
  • Monitor application usage, anticipate problems and research solutions for customer issues
  • Deploy and operation tools to facilitate Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

Qualifications

(What You’ll Bring)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Previous relevant Co-Op experience required
  • Firm grasp of SysAdmin fundamentals and DevOps practice
  • Familiarity cloud based platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Solid understanding of current web and internet technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, Memcache
  • Familiarity with challenges of supporting an enterprise-level SaaS environment
  • Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills and a passion for problem solving
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Packer, Artifactory) and SCM (Git, Perforce)
  • Proficiency in managing configuration management system such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
  • Experience administrating, deploying and managing Ubuntu, Red Hat or CentOS systems
  • Familiarity with common scripting languages (perl, python, shell, ruby, etc.)
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Grafana, InfluxDB, Logstash, Nagios
