Sr. Specialist, Process Innovation

 

The Senior Specialist in Process Innovation will be responsible for diagnosis of operational / process issues and to determine improvement points for activities related to sales and logistics operations. This position will be responsible to develop the project plan in order to support business division and supporting division within the organization: Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain/Retail Management, Logistics, Finance and Service. 

This person will focus on value added projects to optimize the functional process and the operational system based on data driven analytic skill.

The position will be a key liaison between internal SECA (Sales & Marketing, SCM, Logistics, BOC, MIS, Finance and Service) and external SECA such as HQ/NAHQ/ Samsung SDS /Customers/Vendors on projects they lead. 

In addition, there will be other opportunities to lead or participate in HQ projects & new system roll-out where their expertise can be applied.

This position will be responsible for project plan developments, initiatives and internal approval/consensus processes as related to process change and insurance of compliance with HA/NAHQ guidelines and KPI results.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of new Process Innovation Projects related to operation optimization and process efficiency and ensuring successful delivery of projects: Project Plan
  • Ensures execution of projects developed
  • Responsible to establish timelines, ownership, key milestones and to follow-up with stakeholders on all deliverables
  • Responsible to monitor project execution and develops follow-up plan in case change/improvement are required based on the feedback
  • Responsible for the adoption and coordination of new operational process or system changes ensuring alignment to HQ guidelines
  • Responsible to resolve escalations through interaction with all levels within Sales and Marketing,SCM, Logistics, BOC, Finance and Service to ensure that needs are identified and immediate resolution found for critical SCM operational barriers
  • Coordination of required System/process implementation
  • Training for new Process or functional system delivered by project
  • Data and Work flow Analysis
  • Review and Coordinate the updates of new policies and procedures in GPPM
  • Responsible to present ideas and concepts in addition to gaining consensus from all levels of the organization

Qualifications

  • BA required
  • Expert Knowledge of ERP such as SAP required
  • MS Office suite required, Strong Excel VBA, SQL an asset
  • Knowledge of EDI an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Outlook),
  • Project Management experience required
  • Business Analysis
  • 7 years of work related experience in supply chain management, logistic
  • Knowledge of supply chain process and retail channel within electronics industry
  • Strong Data analysis function
  • The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with multiple levels within and outside the company.  Must be able to influence others in acceptance, approval, and providing product description.
  • The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
  • The ability to work in a team environment to identify and achieve team project goals and results, including the completion of assignments within established time frames.
  • Demonstrated ability to Interact with all levels within the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
