Position Summary:

Do you love technology? Do you love working with people and helping them find the perfect job? If so, we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and organized Technical Recruiter to join our team!


Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will be responsible for conducting end-to-end recruitment for technical engineering positions related to software R&D.  You will ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience by providing full-cycle recruitment.


Contract ends December 2018


(What You'll Do)

  • Support the Vancouver R&D Lab with end-to-end recruitment needs (includes: conducting intake meetings, phone screens, coordinating interviews, and offer negotiations)
  • Actively source talent using sources such as LinkedIn, Social Media and ATS to identify and recruit the best qualified candidates
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified technical professionals Manage recruitment reporting
  • Perform the administration for background checking as required
  • Assist with job fairs and external events
  • Contribute to ad-hoc HR projects as required


(What You’ll Bring)

  • Bachelor’s degree or post graduate diploma or equivalent work experience in Human Resources within the high tech industry
  • Requires 2+ years of technology recruitment experience
  • Experience with sourcing and recruiting software engineering talent in the high tech industry is required
  • Experience with behavioral and/or situational based interviewing
  • Experience within a recruitment agency environment is an asset     
  • User experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as iCIMs and Workday
  • Previous experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Strong organizational/time management skills to deal with high volume recruitment and administration activity
  • Strong communication, analytical, assessment and written skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and work with all levels of employees
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
